Endometriosis can be the cause of many problems during periods. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 190 million women are victims of it worldwide. At the same time, according to The Endometriosis Society of India, about 2.5 million women in India have this disease.

Endometriosis is a problem faced by women. In this condition, the endometrium tissue growing inside the uterus starts spreading outside it as well. Sometimes this tissue spreads to the intestines and other reproductive organs as well. Endometriosis can badly affect the uterus.

  • Pain in the lower back and abdomen during menstruation and sex
  • heavy bleeding during periods
  • Pain during urination (especially during periods)
  • Fatigue, diarrhea, constipation during menstruation

Sometimes endometriosis disease does not cause much pain. In some cases, women do not even show any symptoms of having this disease.

The connection of endometriosis to women's reproductive health

According to Dr Mishra, having endometriosis can make it difficult for women to conceive. This affects the fallopian tubes and ovaries, which can cause bleeding and pain during periods in women. In this, women have to face many problems. Infertility becomes a problem in many of them.

Endometriosis can harm the egg in ladies' ovaries by changing their hormonal climate, which can likewise cause aggravation in the pelvic region. It is isolated into various classes: Stage-1 (least), Stage-2 (gentle), Stage-3 (medium) and Stage-4 (genuine).

As per Dr Mishra, stage-4 ladies need more watchfulness. She might become barren at this stage. In stage-4, ladies' ovaries are harmed and fallopian tubes are impeded.
